Salaar hindi version on OTT: Salaar after last year’s biggest box office run at the theatres, the film was released on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages, there it quickly became the biggest hit on the OTT platform and shattered all the records on the streaming platform. However, the Hindi version was not released earlier, as per the Multiplex Associations’ decision not to release Hindi films on any platform until eight weeks after their OTT debut.

Storyline of Salaar

This movie titled “Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire,” stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, and Shruti Haasan, directed by Prashanth Neel (KGF fame), and has garnered immense popularity worldwide. The storyline is about the Khansaar, governed by the crime bosses. Varadha Raja (Prithviraj Sukumaran) is going towards any length to gain the upper head in the city to be a crime lord, but in the process, Deva (Prabhas) his friend becomes his number one enemy.

In the film’s climax, there is an unexpected twist that has set the stage for its sequel, “Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam,” enduring the appealing saga for audiences worldwide.

Return of Prabhas

Prabhas, who became the megastar after ‘Bahubali’ however, in the last few years has given back-to-back flops. But this movie has marked his return to PAN India stardom, grossing over 600 crores worldwide.

Despite the delay in releasing the Hindi dubbed version, this movie netted approximately 150 crores at the box office, showcasing a great contribution to the action-packed narrative, even with stiff competition from Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki.”
