Grammy Awards 2024: Winners this year
Grammy Awards 2024: Grammy Awards Honors the best recordings, composition, and the Artist for the year 1 October 2022 to September 15, 2023. Nomination was announced on November 10, 2023, and winners were chosen by The Recording Academy members.
This year’s ceremony was hosted by Trevor Noah and it took place at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena it was broadcast on CBS also streamed live on Paramount+.
Winners of Grammy Awards 2024:
At this year’s Grammy Awards 2024, Taylor Swift got the Album of the Year for her album named “Midnights,” which marks her fourth win in this category during her career. This is the record for any artist, nobody has more than her. She also snagged Best Pop Vocal Album plus she surprised everyone by telling the world about her upcoming album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which would be coming on April 19.
SZA led the Grammy with nine nominations, which include Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year. Despite the fact after having 15 previous Grammy nominations and only win in 2022, she got more award this year, most notably for Best R&B Song.
There was proud moment for India as well, Zakir Hussain and Shankar Mahadevan’s fusion music group, Shakti, won the prestigious 2024 Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album which was titled ‘This Moment.’ The band member includes singer Shankar Mahadevan, John McLaughlin, percussionist V Selvaganesh, Zakir Hussain, and violinist Ganesh Rajagopalan.

- Best R&B Song: SZA won with “Snooze.”
- Best Pop Solo Performance: Miley Cyrus won with “Flowers.”
- Best Country Album: Lainey Wilson took the prize for “Bell Bottom Country.”
- Best New Artist: Victoria Monét emerged as the winner.
- Best Pop Vocal Album: Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” claimed the victory.
- Best Músic Urban Album: Karol G won with “Mañana Será Bonito.”
- Song of the Year: Billie Eilish O’Connell & Finneas O’Connell won for “What Was I Made For?” from the movie “Barbie.”
- Record of the Year: Miley Cyrus won with “Flowers.”
- Album of the Year: Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” secured the top spot.
